Who you are agreeing with
These terms are the agreement between you and NextConstraint (“we”, “us”) for using the service. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
The service
NextConstraint reads numbers from tools you connect, puts a dollar cost on each leak in your funnel compared with your own history, picks one fix for the most expensive one, and measures whether it moved after you ship it. Pricing the leaks, picking the fix and the verdict are fixed arithmetic. AI is used to answer questions in Ask, to write AI plans, and to read numbers out of screenshots you upload.
It is decision support software. It is not an agency, a consultant or a guarantee, and nothing in it is legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Its numbers can be wrong when the data behind them is incomplete or late, and AI answers can be wrong too. What you decide to do, and the result, is yours.
Your account
The leak calculator and the sample workspace need no account. Everything else needs an account, created with an email address and password or by signing in with Google, and an active plan. Keep your login to yourself, use an email address you receive mail at, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
One account is for one company. If you run several companies, use separate accounts. You must be 18 or older.
Plans and prices
There is one plan, Pro, billed monthly or yearly. The price you will pay is shown on the pricing page and again before you reach checkout. Today the monthly plan is $39 a month and the annual plan is $390 a year, plus any sales tax or VAT.
The intro month. On the monthly plan, your first month costs $9. From your second month you pay the regular monthly price. The intro month is once per person: an account that has had it, or an email address whose deleted account had it, pays the regular price from the first month. The annual plan has no intro month.
Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the card you paid with is charged the regular price for the next one, until you cancel. We email you three days before your first full-price monthly charge with its date, its amount and a link to cancel. On the annual plan, we email you the same 30 days before each yearly renewal.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your plan can be put on hold, which pauses access until the payment goes through. If it cannot be collected, your plan ends.
Price changes. We may change our prices. A new price applies to an existing plan only from a renewal at least 30 days after we email you about it, so you can cancel before it does.
Payments and taxes
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which also handles order-related questions such as invoices, payment methods and charges.
Dodo Payments takes the payment, issues your invoice, and calculates, collects and remits any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are. Our prices are plus any sales tax or VAT, which Dodo adds at checkout where it applies. Dodo’s own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your full card number.
Refund Policy
Cancel anytime from the customer portal: Settings opens it, and cancelling takes one click there, with no email or call.
Access continues until the end of the paid period. After you cancel you keep everything until the end of the month or year you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
No refunds for unused time or partial periods, including the rest of a month or year after you cancel, except for a billing error (such as a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled) or where the law requires a refund. For either, write to support@nextconstraint.app; Dodo Payments can also help with any order.
Deleting your account works the same way: your plan stops renewing at the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing is refunded. If you restore your account within 7 days of asking to delete it and that period has not ended, your plan carries on as before; otherwise you choose a plan again.
If something goes wrong on our side, write to us. We would rather sort it out than argue about policy.
AI, under fair use
AI answers, AI plans and screenshot reading are included in Pro under fair use. Each month has a limit to keep costs fair. If you reach it, AI features pause until your next month starts; everything that does not use AI keeps working. AI is not sold separately.
What you may submit
Only ask us to read a domain you own or are allowed to act for, and only connect accounts you are entitled to connect. Do not upload or type in credentials (other than the keys a connection asks for), health records, payment card data, government identifiers, or anything else that carries special legal handling requirements. NextConstraint is not built for regulated data.
You keep the rights to what you put in. You let us store and process it only to run NextConstraint for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
Acceptable use
Do not use NextConstraint to probe networks you do not control, get around another site’s access controls, scrape competitors at volume, or overload third-party services. The website reader only fetches public pages that robots.txt allows, and we will suspend accounts that try to push it past that. Do not resell access, share one login across an organization, use automated scripts to drive the AI features, or try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service.
Accounts you connect
Connecting your tools is optional. After setup, NextConstraint only ever reads from your tools, and asks for the least access each one allows:
- Stripe (beta). NextConstraint accepts only restricted keys, and setup asks for read access only.
- Dodo Payments and Plausible. Setup asks for a read-only key.
- PostHog. Keys are checked and refused if they can write.
- Vercel. NextConstraint accepts only a token limited to one project. Vercel tokens can’t be made read-only, so that token has full access to that one project, even though NextConstraint only reads with it.
- Supabase. Setup makes a one-time change: it creates a small schema with one view, and one role whose only grant is that view. Like any database role, it can also call functions your project lets everyone call; setup lists any of those that run with elevated rights. It touches no data. The view holds only sign-up and last-sign-in times, and no user data leaves your database except counts: never emails or user rows. NextConstraint keeps only that role’s password, never a Supabase key. Disconnecting shows the SQL that removes the view and role.
- Your keys. Encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only server-side.
- When you leave. Disconnect a tool and its stored key is deleted at once. Delete your account and your stored keys are deleted at once; everything else is deleted after 7 days, and you can log in before then to restore it. If you used the intro month, we keep only a one-way hash of your email, so the intro month stays once per person. Backups expire within 7 more days.
You can disconnect any of them at any time. Those services have their own terms, and if one changes its API or cuts off access, that part of NextConstraint may stop working.
Availability and changes
NextConstraint is an early product under active development. Features will change, some will be removed, and there will be downtime. We will tell you by email before a change that materially reduces what you are paying for; if it does not work for you, cancel and you will not be charged again.
We may update these terms. For a change that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top and email you before it takes effect.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, charges back a legitimate payment, or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to copy out your data.
Liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
